Mike K. Forth, DDS Achieves Accredited Status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
March 10, 2008 Madison, WI - Mike K. Forth, DDS, of Edmond, OK has achieved Accredited status in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) - becoming the only fully accredited cosmetic dentist in Oklahoma and joining 286 dental professionals in the world who have earned this prestigious designation. Mike K. Forth, DDS reached this status through dedication to continueing education and careful adherence to clinical protocol.

Through the AACD's Accreditation program for dentists, AACD members must undergo a three-part process consisting of a written examination, submission of clinical cases for evaluation and an oral examination. Each candidate must also attend a series of workshops as part of the program. While each part must be completed in sequence, candidates have up to five years to complete the program after successfully completing the written examination. Dr. Forth graduated from Central State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1967. He completed his degree in Dental Surgery at Temple University School of Dentistry. Following completion of his doctorate of dental surgery Dr. Forth served two years at the Fort Leonard Wood General Army Hospital. Dr. Forth began his private practice in Edmond, Oklahoma in 1973 and has practiced restorative, reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry since then.
In addition to service to his local community through dentistry he has been active serving as Chairman of the Edmond Social Services Commission for eight years. He recently served on the national level as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the American Academy of OSMEtic Dentistry Charitable Foundation.
